Magnolia Bakery is being introduced in New Delhi with its first outlet at World St., Worldmark, Aerocity, marking the New York-based brand’s entry into the capital. The development is being positioned as a key addition to Delhi’s evolving premium dining ecosystem. The outlet is offering a range of classic American desserts, while World St. is being reinforced as a curated food, beverage and lifestyle destination within the Worldmark business district.
The expansion is being seen as part of a broader effort to strengthen World St.’s culinary portfolio. S. K. Sayal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Bharti Real Estate, stated that World St. has been envisioned as the social and cultural hub of Worldmark. He noted that the destination has been designed as a vibrant, walkable environment that brings together globally recognised brands and diverse experiences for visitors.
The inclusion of Magnolia Bakery is also being aligned with changing consumer preferences in Delhi. S. K. Sayal said the focus has been on curating a dynamic mix that resonates with professionals, travellers and the city’s evolving lifestyle aspirations. He added that the brand’s presence contributes to positioning World St. as a preferred destination for dining and social interactions across the city.
The launch is further being described as a strategic step for Magnolia Bakery’s growth in India. Zonu Reddy, Co-Founder of Spago Foods, stated that Delhi has remained an important market for the brand. He explained that the new outlet at World St., Worldmark, Aerocity enables the brand to reach a broader customer base while maintaining the quality and familiarity associated with Magnolia Bakery.
World St. at Worldmark has been developed as a pedestrian-friendly promenade that spans approximately half a kilometre across Worldmark 4, 5 and 6. The destination covers nearly 2,60,000 sq. ft. of gross leasable area and integrates multiple design elements, including alfresco dining spaces, landscaped courtyards, art installations and curated street furniture to enhance the visitor experience.
The overall development is being structured to combine dining, retail and leisure in a single location. By connecting multiple Worldmark buildings, World St. brings together cafés, patisseries, fine-dining restaurants and bars within one cohesive environment. With the addition of Magnolia Bakery, the destination’s dessert and café segment is being further expanded, catering to growing demand for international formats in New Delhi.
