Kochi Kurry Klub has been launched in Bengaluru as a delivery-first food brand centred on authentic Kerala comfort food. It has been introduced by Skope Kitchens to bring everyday, home-style meals to urban consumers, where such offerings are often limited. The brand has been positioned around familiarity and accessibility, focusing on daily staples rather than premium or occasion-based dining.

A gap in the availability of authentic Kerala staples has been identified as a key driver behind the launch. It has been observed that restaurant menus often prioritise festive dishes, leaving everyday foods underrepresented. The menu at Kochi Kurry Klub has therefore been designed around commonly consumed items such as appam with stew, puttu with kadala curry, and parotta with chicken roast, inspired by meals prepared in homes and local eateries across Kochi.

The brand’s positioning has been explained by Arvind Krishnan, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Skope Kitchens, who stated that the intent had been to avoid creating a generic South Indian concept and instead deliver “a very specific, everyday version of Kerala food.” He further noted that the recipes had been kept close to traditional home-style cooking and tea-shop culture.

The emphasis on comfort and repeat consumption has been highlighted by Tom Mathew, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Skope Kitchens. He stated that the concept had been designed as food people could return to regularly, recreating the familiarity of meals they grow up eating.

Affordability has been positioned as a core element, with meals priced at approximately ₹300 for two people. The brand is currently operated through Skope Kitchens’ managed kitchen platform and is available across Bengaluru locations including JP Nagar, Marathahalli, and Kalyan Nagar.
