New Delhi has welcomed the launch of The Love Hotel, a 20-seater adults-only cocktail room by restaurateur AD Singh, positioned discreetly within Guppy in Lodhi Colony. The concept draws inspiration from Japan’s historic love hotels, aiming to offer a moody, intimate, and experiential space for guests.
Developed under the Olive Group and designed by Saumya Gupta and Shiva Kant Vyas of The Open Art Project, this cocktail room integrates thematic interiors, playful undertones, and a bold design language. Dim lighting, deep red walls, jade green tables, and a bar devoid of physical barriers set the tone for immersive interaction. Signature scent notes, interactive ‘love’ games on coasters, and thematic cocktails enhance the guest experience.
The venue features a curated food menu led by Chef Saurabh Sharan, offering Asian-inspired small plates designed for sharing. Highlights include Brie and Chilli Tempura, Crunchy Summer Wraps, pork ribs, and wasabi-infused Shooters. The beverage menu, developed by mixologist Nitin Tiwari, includes unconventional ingredients such as soy, miso, yogurt, and spice blends, delivering unique combinations across its offerings. Each drink is labelled with its alcohol content and taste profile, with options ranging from 8% to 24% ABV.
The Love Hotel is positioned to attract younger diners and couples looking for a novel, conversation-led evening. This new venture is expected to add significant footfall to the Olive Group’s portfolio in the capital, with plans already underway to expand to Mumbai.
