A Starbucks Reserve® store has been introduced at Hamilton House in Connaught Place, New Delhi, marking the transformation of Tata Starbucks’ flagship outlet into a premium coffee destination. Positioned within one of the capital’s most historic buildings, the outlet is being presented as a significant evolution in the brand’s India journey, where heritage architecture is being combined with a more refined and immersive coffee experience.
A heightened focus on experiential retail is being reflected through the Starbucks Reserve® format, where customer interaction with coffee is being elevated. Rare coffee varietals and diverse brewing methods are being showcased at the Reserve Bar, allowing a deeper exploration of flavour and technique. Greater precision in brewing is being enabled by the Black Eagle espresso machine, through which enhanced control over extraction is being achieved by trained coffee masters.
A design language rooted in cultural convergence is being expressed through the concept of “Sangam,” which has guided the store’s visual and spatial identity. The architectural essence of Hamilton House is being preserved while contemporary elements are being layered through Indian materials, artisanal craftsmanship, and locally inspired artwork. A multi-textured and visually rich environment is thus being created, reflecting both Delhi’s cultural depth and Starbucks’ global Reserve positioning.
The transformation has been positioned by Tata Starbucks as part of its broader strategy to deepen consumer engagement through thoughtfully designed spaces. Adrit Mishra, Chief Operating Officer of Tata Starbucks, stated that the initiative reflects the company’s focus on evolving in-store experiences, adding, “We aim to foster deeper coffee conversations.” It has been emphasised that skilled coffee masters and immersive design elements are being placed at the core of the experience.
A more premium and engaging coffee journey is being offered through the reimagined store, catering to both experienced coffee enthusiasts and new consumers. The Starbucks Reserve® outlet at Hamilton House is scheduled to welcome customers from April 29, 2026, with operations being maintained daily between 8 AM and midnight.
