Yoichi by Shiro has introduced a table-side hot-pot dining experience at its outlet in Manyata Tech Park, positioning it as an interactive, one-pot meal format inspired by Southeast Asia’s communal eating traditions.
The experience is designed around a build-your-own hot pot concept, where diners can curate and cook their selections at the table. It is being positioned as a relaxed, social dining format, particularly suited to group occasions and slower meal experiences.
At the centre of the offering are two signature broths, each developed to deliver distinct flavour profiles. The Vietnamese broth offers a lighter, aromatic base with notes of lemongrass, garlic and chilli, complemented by fresh herbs. In contrast, the Sichuan Mala broth presents a richer, spice-forward profile, defined by the numbing heat of Sichuan peppercorns and layered seasoning.
The menu allows for extensive customisation, with diners able to choose from a variety of vegetables such as bok choy and mushrooms, alongside tofu and proteins including prawns, white fish and chicken. Noodle options such as bean thread and rice stick noodles further allow guests to tailor texture and portion to preference.
Supporting the format is an NFC-enabled ordering system, which enables guests to seamlessly add ingredients to their pot directly from the table, reducing service friction and enhancing convenience.
A key design element of the experience lies in the tables themselves. Built as sleek, integrated units, they transform into individual hot-pot stations, combining functionality with a clean, contemporary aesthetic.
With this introduction, Yoichi by Shiro continues to build on its positioning as a destination for interactive dining formats, drawing inspiration from Southeast Asian night markets while adapting the experience for a modern, urban restaurant setting.
