Speciality Restaurants Limited has expanded its Italian dining concept SICILIANA to Bengaluru with a new outlet at Phoenix Mall of Asia. Located on the third floor of the mall, the restaurant is being positioned as an all-day dining destination inspired by Sicilian food culture, Mediterranean hospitality, and immersive dining experiences.

The Bengaluru launch follows the brand’s earlier expansion into Kolkata, Mumbai, and Thane. Designed with earthy tones and contemporary Mediterranean-inspired interiors, the restaurant has been developed around a relaxed social dining format that combines ambience with artisanal Italian cuisine.

The menu, curated by chef Sabyasachi Gorai, features Sicilian-style fritti, handmade pastas, seafood dishes, artisanal cheeses, Sfincione pizza, and desserts such as Pistachio Cannoli. A beverage programme featuring signature cocktails, Italian classics, and curated wine selections has also been introduced to complement the dining experience.

Ritu Mehta, Centre Director – Phoenix Mall of Asia and Director of Marketing – South, stated that Bengaluru’s dining culture was increasingly being shaped by immersive hospitality experiences and globally inspired cuisines. She noted that SICILIANA had been added to strengthen the mall’s premium dining portfolio.

Anjan Chatterjee, Chairman and Managing Director of Speciality Restaurants Limited, said the concept had been created around Sicily’s culture of sharing meals and enjoying simple yet flavourful food in a relaxed setting. He added that Bengaluru’s growing preference for experiential dining made the city an important market for the brand’s expansion.
