A seasonal dining initiative by Nara Thai has been highlighted through the introduction of The Golden Table, a limited-period menu designed to align with the festive demand for group dining in Mumbai. It was observed that the menu had been curated to cater to guests seeking shared, experience-driven meals, with the Worli and BKC outlets being fitted with refreshed décor to match the celebratory mood of the season.
A strong emphasis on grilling was placed at the heart of the offering, with culinary experts noting that slow-marinated preparations, aromatic herbs and open-fire cooking techniques had been used extensively. The menu’s opening section was described as featuring a broad variety of appetisers, with particular attention given to vegetarian options created for the Indian audience. The Pak Yang Platter, which included grilled vegetables accompanied by Thai sauces, was repeatedly identified as one of the key items contributing to the broadened appeal. Starters such as chilli-emulsion tossed baby potatoes, lemongrass-buttered corn, and grilled chicken and prawns seasoned with classic Thai ingredients were also mentioned as part of the lineup.
The Whole Grilled Lobster was positioned as the central feature of the festive spread. It was noted that the dish had been crafted to serve a small group and had been presented with a pomelo salad. Industry commentators suggested that such visually distinctive hero dishes were often effective in enhancing the premium-casual dining experience and supporting higher spending patterns.
The beverage programme was also expanded for the season. Wine pairings were curated to complement the smoky and herb-forward profile of the menu, while Thai-inspired cocktails, wines and premium spirits were included to strengthen the brand's participation in the after-work dining segment. A festive-special dessert—Thai Purple Sweet Potato Ice Cream paired with a Black Sticky Rice Sponge—was added as a colourful conclusion to the meal. Additional attention was drawn to the live-grill cart at the BKC outlet, where ingredients were cooked to order, adding an interactive dimension to the dining experience.
Statements from the Nara Thai team indicated that festive dining in Thailand was traditionally centred around shared flavours and togetherness, and the new menu was designed to embody that spirit. Industry observers concluded that the seasonal offering helped reinforce Nara Thai’s presence in the premium Asian dining landscape of Mumbai while enhancing its culinary storytelling through an experience-oriented approach.
