A dual-format hospitality concept is being introduced in Hyderabad by Dandy & Dandy, where dining and nightlife are integrated within a single venue. The model is being positioned around multi-functional usage, allowing the space to operate seamlessly across different times of the day. A shift in urban consumer behaviour toward flexible, experience-led environments is being reflected through this format, where traditional distinctions between dining and nightlife are being reduced.
Operational continuity is being prioritised within the concept, enabling guests to transition from daytime activities such as meetings and meals into evening social experiences without changing locations. It is being stated by the company that this format is increasingly being adopted in metropolitan markets to optimise space utilisation and improve revenue across multiple dayparts. A growing preference for venues that support extended engagement is being observed in urban hospitality trends.
The venue is being structured around two parallel identities within the same environment. A food-led experience focused on seasonal and ingredient-driven offerings is being presented during the day, while a nightlife-oriented format centred on beverages and music is being activated as the evening progresses. The transition between these formats is being managed through controlled shifts in lighting, music, and ambiance, rather than through structural modifications.
Globally inspired shareable plates are being included in the menu strategy, while the beverage programme is being designed to progress in alcohol intensity over time. Music programming is also being adjusted to align with the changing energy of the space, beginning with low-intensity background audio and moving toward high-energy sets during peak evening hours. It has been stated by Kaushik Rachapudi, Managing Director, Dandy & Dandy, that “There’s no clear divide between work and social life anymore,” highlighting the intent behind the concept.
The operational and experiential design of the venue is being supported by Rehan Guha, whose nearly three decades of industry experience is being leveraged in the project. The concept is being positioned to cater to consumers seeking integrated and flexible experiences, while also reflecting a broader shift in a market where dining and nightlife have traditionally functioned as separate categories.
