India’s hospitality and retail sector is set to witness a significant development as the country’s first Time Out Market is scheduled to be launched at 5 Worldmark in Aerocity, New Delhi. The announcement has been made by Bharti Real Estate, the real estate arm of Bharti Enterprises and the developer behind the Worldmark brand.
Through this development, the globally recognised food and cultural market concept is expected to be introduced to the Indian audience for the first time. Time Out Market, which currently operates across major international cities, has been steadily expanding its footprint worldwide. The Delhi market is being positioned as a landmark addition to this global portfolio.
The new venue is planned to span approximately 24,500 square feet and is designed to accommodate around 500 guests. Within the space, 11 kitchens and two full-service bars are expected to be established, along with a private events room and a dedicated stage for live performances. A carefully curated selection process is said to be guiding the inclusion of chefs, restaurants, and cultural programming, with authenticity and cultural relevance being prioritised.
The association has been described as a strategic step in strengthening Worldmark Aerocity’s reputation as a comprehensive business and lifestyle destination. It has been stated that the concept will cater to international visitors, corporate professionals, and the wider urban community. The collaboration is viewed as aligned with the long-term objective of positioning Worldmark as a premier global business district in India.
The launch is scheduled for the second half of 2026 and will form part of a broader 17-million-square-foot development phase at Worldmark. Within this larger expansion, integrated retail spaces, premium hotels, contemporary offices, and curated hospitality experiences are being developed. With this addition, Aerocity’s transformation into a leading international commercial and lifestyle hub is expected to be further reinforced.
